Middle School State Championship (October 20th, 2018)

The RMS Boys were crowned TEAM CHAMPIONS in the 2018 New Hampshire Middle School Cross Country Running State Championship held at Londonderry High School on October 20th! The boys’ highest finisher was Quinton Pincoske (2nd overall) followed by Will Chorlian (7th), Liam Gleason (13th), Read Merrill (18th), Griffin Norwalt (20th), Jacob Ryder (21st), and Wesley Desantis-Thompson (31st) out of 104 runners. The boys won by a margin of 52! Rundeltt had 56 points followed by Keene (108 pts) and McGlaughlin (110 pts).

The RMS Girls finish a strong 3rd as a team! The girls’ highest finisher was Molly Nyhan (10th overall) followed by Alina Pincoske (13th), Chloe Gudas (16th), Grace McHugh (33rd), Alexis Christie (51st), Caroline Quirk (57th), and Nydia Lane (60th). They finished just behind Woodbury (79 points), Hillside (108 pts), and then Rundlett (118 pts).

Both Rundlett Programs finished top 3 in both boys & girls, STATES BEST DIVISION I combined TEAM finish!

Other Individual Highlights:

In the girls 6th Grade Race Ellas Goulas (9th) and Parker Steinberg (10th) finished in the top ten overall. Just shy was Sophie Skafidas (14th) and Malia Moffett (20th) both finished in the top 20 overall. In the boys 6th Grade Race Tyler Fennelly (2nd) had an impressive runner up finish followed by Rowan Arndt (5th) and Micah Burdette (11th), and Trevor Craigue (20th) in the top 20 overall.

In the girls 7th Grade Race Morgan Doherty (20th) finished in the top 20 overall, on the other side Another Lombardi (5th) was our solo boy finisher inside the top 20.

In the girls 8th Grade Race Olivia Lewis-Zanis (7th) finshed in the top ten overall. Followed by Greta Norton(16th) and Olivia DeAngelis (17th) inside the top 20. In the boys 8th Grade Race Jacob Gurtner (2nd) and Joey Tarbell (3rd) both finished in the top 3 overall.

Great job by all! What an AWESOME season!
